Conference DescriptionThe final versions of all talks presented at the May 2003 Final JGOFS Open Science Conference in Washington, D.C., U.S.A., have been collected by the U.S. JGOFS Planning and Data Management Office staff. All presentations were created using MicroSoft® PowerPoint® (PPT format files). Additionally, PowerPoint® files have been converted to Adobe® Portable Document Format (PDF; compatible with Acrobat 3.0 PDF v1.3 and higher). The PDf files are much smaller and will download much faster than the PPT format files.

The information available here is intended solely for scholarly use by the academic and scientific community, with the express understanding that any such use will properly acknowledge the original author. Anyone wishing to use portions of these presentations in a report, thesis, publication or presentation should read the
copyright statement.
