The first International Summer School on Surface Ocean-Lower Atmosphere Study will be held in Cargese, Corsica (France) from June 30 to July 11 2003. Information and registration form can be found under http://www.bgc.mpg.de/~corinne.lequere/solas/

This school will expose graduate students and young scientists to recent developments and methodologies in the study of biogeochemical and physical interactions and feedbacks between the ocean and atmosphere in a changing environment. The school will mix lectures and practical workshops, including a mini-research cruise and computer modeling experiments. Several fellowships will be awarded to students to cover partially or totally travel and lodging expenses. Requests must be made directly on the registration form.
