The CLIVAR/CO2 repeat hydrography working group has posted their strawman plans on data management, cruise sequencing, and core and ancillary measurements on the following website: www.aoml.noaa.gov/ocd/repeathydro We have established forums for each of the plans to receive community input. It is anticipated that a request for proposals for large scale hydrography will appear in NSF/OCE and NOAA/OGP announcements within the next month. Although the details of how the repeat hydrography effort will be sponsored or executed have not been worked out, investigators interested of participating in the work are encouraged to contact the appropriate measurement contact person listed on the site either through the appropriate forum or directly by E-mail. Comments received by December 15 will be of most use.
