RESEARCH ASSOCIATE (Postdoc) (Position 005-518). The College of Oceanic and Atmospheric Sciences (COAS) at Oregon State University (OSU) invites applications for a full-time, fixed term, annual appointment funded by grant and contract funds. The successful applicant will use satellite-derived data and numerical model outputs to investigate the variability of the southern hemisphere oceans. Qualifications: Ph.D. in physical oceanography, atmospheric sciences, or closely related field; experience in the interpretation and processing of satellite data for oceanographic purposes; familiarity or interest in working with outputs of numerical models; experience with Unix systems and Fortran programming; excellence in written and spoken English; ability to complete and publish results of investigations.
