We are seeking 2 people, the first position will be concerned with modelling the global ocean carbon cycle, and the second position will be more regional, concerned with modelling regulation of Carbon sequestration by iron in the NE Pacific. Thanks, Ken Denman ====================================================== We seek an Ocean Climate Modeller to: develop an understanding of the role of ocean biogeochemistry in responding to and regulating climate change and marine productivity; develop and apply comprehensive numerical modelling and analysis approaches; participate in planning and conducting research and monitoring projects aimed at obtaining data required for evaluation of model performance; publish scientific papers by analyzing and interpreting model results and related data; provide expert scientific advice and assessments to a variety of interested parties; prepart project proposals and budgets, and take an active role in the conduct and planning of scientific research and assessments within the Canadian Centre for Climate Modelling and Analysis (CCCMA) and the Institute of Ocean Sciences (IOS).
