Subject: POSTDOCTORAL POSITION

The School of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at Georgia Tech invites applications for a one-year NSF-funded postdoctoral position, available in July. The project involves marine geochemical aspects of paleoceanography, including trace elements in diatom shells, benthic fluxes of redox-sensitive elements, and development of AMS-C14 methods for intrinsic carbon in marine opal. The initial appointment will be for one year with the possibility of renewal. Salary is based on qualifications. The successful candidate will have strong analytical geochemical experience, expecially ICP-MS. Oceanographic experience will be considered.
