E-mail Announcements Subject: Research Scientist Wanted: Coastal Ocean Modelling The Florida Environmental Research Institute (FERI) invites applications for a Research Scientist position in ocean ecological modeling. We seek candidates with broad training in ocean physical, chemical, biological, and optical modeling to support our efforts to build nowcast/forecast systems in the coastal ocean. Individuals should have a background in computational science and FORTRAN programming. Those experienced with massively parallel computing are especially encouraged to apply. A Ph.D. is required at the time of appointment. Salary range will be commensurate with experience and potential.
