POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
A PostDoc position is available from March 1, 2004 until July 31, 2006 at the Institute of Hydrological Sciences, National Central University, Taiwan within the Research Project, "Development of coupled physical-biogeochemical model and observations of PCO2 at sea surface". The successful candidate is expected to work on existing coupled biogeochemical-physical model of the western North Pacific Ocean with the aim to identify mechanisms that control air-sea flux of CO2 in marginal seas and to assess the possible change due to large-scale damming. Occasional participation on oceanographic expeditions is also required. A PhD in Marine Sciences or related field of environmental sciences is preferred.
