Subject: PostDoc Wanted
A PostDoc position is available from March 1, 2004 until December 31, 2005 at the Leibniz-Institut fuer Meereswissenschaften, IFM-GEOMAR, within the Special Research Project "Dynamics of thermohaline circulation changes, TP B3", at the University of Kiel. The successful candidate is expected to analyse output from a high-resolution basin-scale coupled biogeochemical-physical circulation model with the aim to identify mechanisms that can generate interannual variability in the air-sea fluxes of CO2 and O2. A PhD in Marine Sciences or in another relevant field of environmental sciences is required.
