Positions
MARINE/ATMOSPHERIC CHEMISTRY: We are seeking to fill faculty
positions in our Division, preferably at the assistant and/or associate
rank. One position will be field/laboratory based and the other
remote sensing and/or modeling focused. The Division of Marine and
Atmospheric Chemistry at the Rosenstiel School includes faculty
who carry out research on topics such as: rates of ocean processes
and their influence on climate, using anthropogenic and naturally
occurring geochemical tracers; atmospheric and marine photochemistry;
physical chemistry of natural waters including the CO2 system; atmospheric
trace gas chemistry, air/sea exchange; aerosol chemistry and global
atmospheric transport; marine biogeochemistry. Ph.D. in chemistry,
marine geochemistry, atmospheric chemistry, oceanography or related
field is required. The selection will be based on the potential
for scientific excellence as well as the ability to complement Division
and School strategic plans. The successful candidates will be expected
to develop an externally funded research program. A curriculum vitae,
a summary of research and education experience and goals, and the
