Dear colleagues,

There are 3 weeks left before the 1 May deadline for the Open Science Conference of the Earth System Science Partnership in Beijing , 9-12 November 2006. We would appreciate it if you could circulate this important announcement throughout your network and upload it onto your website, etc. The ESSP OSC in Beijing is an excellent opportunity to showcase the work of the community and plan ahead for the next ten years of Earth System Science.  It would also be useful if you could solicit abstracts from scientists from your community during the call for contributions.
