fluxes
•Identify & quantify processes controlling the partitioning among carbon
reservoirs
•Assess processes leading to spatial/temporal
variability in carbon partitioning
•Scale results to longer time & larger spatial domains
•Improve capabilities for monitoring &
prediction of carbon partitioning
