„Classical“ Inverse - Drawback
The „classical“ inverse approach requires observations on all boundaries of a
given control volume. For transient tracers, the time-rate of change also has to
be known (repeat measurements required).
Usually, these requirements can not be met (e.g., transient tracers CFC, aCO2,
etc.; arbitrary, model-dependent grid-volumes/boxes).
