Conclusions
1.We now have a global TCO2 based estimate of anthropogenic CO2 distributions based
on the high-quality WOCE/JGOFS/OACES
global CO2 survey data.
2.The synthesis work done as part of
the JGOFS Synthesis and
Modeling Project will provide a baseline for future large-scale assessments of inorganic
carbon distributions.
3.We are continuing to improve the
techniques for isolating the
anthropogenic component of the measured TCO2 concentrations.
4.As we begin to resample the WOCE
lines, our ability to evaluate
the anthropogenic changes along those sections will improve.
