Single flat file
The data format that def can read
Structure:
- - Comment lines beginning with '#'
- - parameter names are listed
- - followed by data records.
Rules:
- - Data columns may be space delimited,
comma delimited, or tab delimited.
- - Missing or bad data should be indicated by 'nd'.
Simple flat files are handled easily by the def method.
