Synthesis and Modeling Project Results

Data Directory

The collection of data sets and model results included in this report, reflects the main objective of the U.S. JGOFS Synthesis and Modeling Project (SMP), which was to synthesize knowledge gained from the U.S. JGOFS and related studies into models that reflected our understanding of the ocean carbon cycle and its associated uncertainties.

Most data files included in this report are either plain ASCII text files (either TSV TAB-separated, CSV comma-separated or space-separated values) or netCDF (network Common Data Form).

Clicking on the blue information icon in column one, 'Project Title', will display a brief project description, usually the original proposal abstract. Clicking on the blue information icon in column three, 'Product', will display a page describing the data gathered and results generated by this project and submitted to the DMO as a contribution to the final U.S. JGOFS data collection.
