Thank you for the fascinating report describing the successful completion of the final JGOFS-AESOPS process study in the Ross Sea. It is particularly satisfying to see SeaWiFS imagery and the novel sampling technology of the pumping SeaSoar system being brought into play to provide new insights into mesoscale variability of primary production and carbon fluxes within the highly-productive continental shelf ecosystem. Sounds like you have plenty of exciting results which, in turn, lead to new questions, to begin writing your next proposal.
