 Sampling Methodology

MS-Excel 97 data format and parameter explanation

Lines 1 and 2: Heading

The names are noted according to the JGOFS protocols including information of Genus and species for copepods and most common zooplankton. The prefix zp describes zooplankton. In the case when the species levels are not identified, sp. is used. Within a species, samples were sorted by 5 stages: Male, female, stage CV, stage CIV, and stage CIIV. In the case that the stages are not identified, the stage parameters are left blank.
