AESOPS NBP98-2, Radionuclides from water bottle samples
Principal investigator: Bob Anderson
Institution: Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory
Notes:
1) assumed seawater density = 1.027kg/l to convert from sample weight to volume.
2) radionuclide data are corrected for blanks based on Milli-Q water that was
processed as samples.
3) Total (dissolved + particulate) radionuclide concentrations were measured and
are presented here.
4) Th and Pa were measured by Thermal Ionization Mass Spectrometry (TIMS), and the
errors are given as the 2 sigma standard error of the mean, based on between
20 and 150 measured isotope ratios.
5) 10Be was measured by Accelerator Mass Spectrometry at ETH Zurich, and the errors
are given as the 1 sigma error on the measured 10Be/9Be ratios.
