The original Mixed Layer Depth files of Wilf Gardner did not contain event numbers. At the request of Joanie Kleypas (NCAR), Dave Schneider added event numbers to the Gardner MLD files.
A handful of apparent test casts in the Gardner files, which are not documented in the log file or Gardner's notes, were removed.
